Dear friends,

yaffa Nazareth, an ancient town, is said by some historians to be the

homeland of Saint John. Its geographical location, climate and its good

earth, have attracted inhabitants to live there throughout the ages, and

consequently yaffa has gained a prestigious position in region.

in the local council of yaffa we have been striving to develop it by paving

roads, improving the education system, providing employment opportunities,

building up public gardens and caring for the environment.

along with that, yaffa is a peace-loving town, and we firmly believe that

with the implementation of a just peace, vast horizons will be opened for

the prosperity of the two nations of this country: the Jews and the arabs,

and for the people of the whole region.
